Seraphina stared at her reflection in the crystal clear water of the pond. It was hard to not notice the glow that was decorating her entire face and it made her shake her head. Was she really that excited about getting married?
She had been constantly staring at her wedding ring to make herself believe that she was indeed married now. Even though the marriage wouldn't last for too long, it was still something she could look forward to and enjoy for coming few years.
The other side of the garden was filled with chatters, laughter, and cheers of the guests as they enjoyed the wedding banquet. Everyone seemed happy and excited as this was the first time Shadow City was celebrating a happy event, let alone a wedding banquet.
Tired after all the dancing and mingling with some of the guests, Seraphina decided to find a quiet place for herself and ended up near the pond. The fairylights and the lilies looked extremely pretty and she just stood there taking in the beauty.
