"Welcome to our hideout, it's nothing fancy, but considering it's down in the sewers, well...," Grinned Sarasi sheepishly.
"Most importantly, it's a very...safe place," Chuckled Saif in amusement.

"Honestly, this is a lot better than I was expecting, all things considered. Looks like you've got a lot of people down here," I remarked, as I looked around.
It was a large space in the maze of the sewer system, with dozens of wooden huts built across the area, as well as a number of tents set up, and there were probably close to a couple hundred or so people.
A lot of them had dead looks in their eyes, like they'd lost all hope and couldn't even be bothered to exist. Can't say I blame them, they've all probably lost loved ones and had their lives turned upside down before ending up down here.
