Arlan and Yorian shared the gazes. Yorian said, "Prince Arlan, would you come with me. I have something to talk about. Till then, let the father and daughter talk for a while."
Arlan nodded and said to Oriana, I'll be back in a while.
Oriana nodded and the two walked away.
The silence surrounded the two as they continued to sit quietly.
Finally, Oriana gathered some courage and asked, "Did you love my mother in both her lives?"
The man looked at her beautiful eyes which reminded him of the eyes of his late wife. "Do you think just because I am Demon, I do not know how to love and cherish someone?"
"I don't mean it that way. I just wanted to ask as she was a deity and Demons seem to not like deities," she explained.
