Han Jisen placed the document in front of Xia Pengpeng.
"The application we submitted has been put on hold for an unspecified reason," he said.
Xia Pengpeng glanced at the document, her delicate eyebrows slightly furrowed, "Did they say when there might be a result?"
"They just said to wait a few more months."
"The auction process was normal, and we've signed all sorts of documents. Yet, they don't approve construction. There has to be someone behind this," she stated.
Han Jisen nodded, "If that's the case, the situation might be a bit tricky."
"Can we find out what's going on first? We need to know who did this before we can figure out a solution," Xia Pengpeng proposed.
"I'm already having people look into it. We should have an answer soon," he reassured her.
