While Yun Xi was thinking miscellanious thoughts, she felt a finger flick her forehead as she looked up.
"What are you thinking so hard about? I called you a few times, but you didn't respond." It was Qin Cheng crouching down in front of her as he smiled, retrating his hand before she could try to bite him.
"Meow."
The flick wasn't painful, but Yun Xi still held her forehad with both hands to protect it getting flicked again, turning her head away from him.
"I told you I'll spend the time with you before going to the banquet, but I was too busy with those stupid papers and couldn't get a time. I'm free now so that I can spend the rest of the evening with you, what do you want to do, Princess?" Qin Cheng's voice was serious and easygoing, as if he was trying to compensate for her loss.
"Meow."
