I pushed him away.

He made a grabbing gesture with his hands, taking a step forward whilst I take a step back.
"I don't miss people who vanishes without a word for the second time."
He tilted his head and smiled brightly, light emitting from his body. "I don't either."
…Ugh.
"Fine you win this time."
"Oh, finally."
Blondie took a plate of cake from his hoard of desserts that lined the balcony's marbled railings.

The breeze suddenly swept, carrying the scent of leaves and flowers.
When I turned to look at the direction of the sun, it had already begun descending, casting a soft glow of gold and pinks in the sky.
