Anon, Jay, and I all huddled into our car and set off, leaving Parker behind. I can't deny that I am uneasy about leaving him to fend for himself but I trust him. There isn't much danger for him anyway. We are the ones who are running headfirst into a lion's den.
"I don't know what will happen but please stay safe. This plan is pointless if anyone gets killed. Alright?" I say hoping to put my mind at ease.
"Worry about yourself. We won't die." Anon says bluntly.
"Yeah, what he said," Jay responds.
Well, at least they are confident.
9:29 Am
We pull up to the access road and things are as I left them yesterday. No signs of anyone coming here since yesterday. That's good. I have Anon park the car as close to the forest entrance as possible. I'm hoping we won't need to get away but it's best to have things ready if we do need to. We all get our gear ready and set out for our walk through the dense forest behind the palace.
Here we go. There's no turning back now.
