Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Mister End

Before, the world was in a simple peaceful life, right up until a certain devil filled the world with war and famine. Because of it they were soon to be doomed to fall just like any other worlds that it devoured. But many humanoid creatures with unnatural powers revealed around a thousand defended and sustained back to its natural order.

What they seek to remain in their world is a normal place just to believe and worship them. But why all of a sudden this world was filled with false gods, a certain person pondered.

Long before they existed, they had encountered a very pristine monumental crystal that had the power to transfer a blessing to any entity whom it bathed or even just touch it for a specific amount of time. Soon they formed an organization to seize the crystal and used to transfer powers from ordinary people, false gods as they assumed to be accepted by this kind of settlement. And soon they called these people the Author Police.

7 years has passed and peace and order was at its longest, living with unnatural people and ordinary people guarding the crystal and defending people from injustice and famine, and any other forms of conflict until all of a sudden all these false gods remain a mystery as they disappear at the face of the world.

"What's happening... Chief?"

Shaking from the immense fear as he stares at some kind of humanoid creatures.

"Hello there, can you tell me your name? Are you in charge of securing this crystal, mister? A 20 year old male kindly asks the frightened person.

The hair, the eyes, and the clothing he wears, it was truly inhumane. Representable and feared, just from his presence they already know how powerful he truly is. He didn't even bother hiding it, showing dominance towards them.

Feared but there was one team who weren't bothered by it. They were the first Elite who had never seen the light of day just to train to be the best out there.

"Heh nice one. Which one of you five made that immensely large barrier to enforce my army of demons to go stand by?"

"Who are you?"

"Finally someone talked. Are you the leader?"

"Yes. What is your business here?

"I am just here to carry out my purpose, that is to.... Nevermind about it, it is better to keep it a secret. The thrilling of fighting an unknown powerful person must be amazing just by breathing. Life can be a little dull with peace just by forever."

Petals of a white flower subdues the mysterious person as the blade from between beautifully almost penetrates the mysterious person's heart but unfortunately misses.

As it turned into a dance with the girl in white kimono.

"You are a beautiful little girl, but that isn't enough to touch my heart." The blade vanished from where it had fallen, the air around it rippling like disturbed water. In a blink, it streaked back toward the girl's outstretched hand, slicing through the space between them with an eerie precision. Her fingers closed around the hilt effortlessly, as if it had never left her grasp. A knowing smirk played on her lips—this was no ordinary ability.

"Fall back." A whisper through the mysterious person's subtle ear came, a voice of a young girl that is too eerie to avoid.

"Fine. Can you tell me your names five of you." At first they were hesitant to answer but they leave them no choice.

"We are what's called the author police. Our job is to protect this world from abnormalities that came from a book, is what those false gods said. We were just blessed by an authority to create our imaginationsminto reality based on acknowledgement of the great crystal."

"I see, my aim here is only simple, find the person who is in par of mine to fight. My mentor told me."

"Are you here to kill us and destroy the world?!"

"Not yet, you can call me Mister End I'll be back once I deal with my objective. If you'll excuse me." A blade blocks the Mister End.

"Are you serious?" Mister End's glare burned into the girl, sharp and unyielding. His presence alone felt like a weight pressing down on the room.

She exhaled slowly, her fingers loosening around the hilt. The blade slid from her grasp, tumbling to the floor with a metallic clink. Yet, she didn't flinch—whether it was surrender or calculation, only she knew.

The dangerous person known as Mister End fled the scene leaving them with one task, guide the remains of humans towards the safest shelter near the author police station.
