Assassinating the Marshal, eliminating Deep Cold, deterring the underground world, helping The North Sea make enemies.
That was just one of the goals.
There was another matter.
Even more important than all of those combined.
The Marshal had controlled the underground world for many years, holding many resources and secrets in his hands.
One of these secrets, Julius Reed had only recently come to know of.
After the gunfire, Deep Cold's headquarters castle was in shambles.
Many buildings had collapsed, a small part remained intact.
Some people in the castle died under the gunfire, some followed the Marshal in the front courtyard.
Even more were on the outside of the castle, waiting in strict formation.
So much so that when Julius Reed reached the entrance to the basement, he encountered no resistance.
The door to the basement was still open.
It was very likely that Ragweed King was too hasty with the bombardment and didn't manage to close it.
