Watching the old man packing, an absurd thought sprang to his mind.
"A god dies and births other creatures and gods? Why does it feel like this god's setting is somewhat of a rip-off of Pangu?"
After thinking for a while, Charles asked the old man again, "So, what is your god called now?"
"Pai Bo." Another unfamiliar name.
"Do you have its sculpture here?"
Following the direction of the old man's finger, Charles saw a twisted, braid-like vicious worm, with a terrifying and detestable exterior that was not surprising, but one detail struck Charles as very unexpected.
The sculpture was divided into two colors; half of it was black, and the other half was transparent, somewhat resembling a mixture of glass and obsidian.
When Charles posed this question to the old man, he received an explanation. "The body of the Pai Bo God is quite special, He cannot fully exist in this world, when He is absent, other gods must assist."
"Heh, still polytheistic."
