Ray sits silently while Vulserion continues to stare off into the void the two are in. They sit there for some time before Ray finally speaks, "I want her back because I'm selfish... So many people have left my life too early, and I've been given the power to prevent that from happening again. I still believe that her death was unfair, but truthfully, I don't want yet another person I care about to die without me being able to do anything about it."
"Complete honesty is all that I can ask for," Vulserion smiles a little, "I have spent millennia with the most selfish, unlikeable, and morally bankrupt people I have ever met. Yet what I hated the most was their complete inability to be honest. They have all asked me for help at some point or another, yet they are never truthful about why they want it. Acting as if they are doing me a favor by asking for my assistance."
