Fiona Schmidt pouted, squinting at Emma Benson with a light snort, "Humph, if I don't care, I don't care. Do you think I want to care?!"
After she spoke, she turned and went upstairs, not in the mood for dinner.
Emma Benson could tell that Fiona was repulsed by her, but she wasn't angry, understanding that Fiona was unaware of the difficulties she faced in getting married. If she knew, with her clear-cut nature of loving and hating, she certainly wouldn't act like this anymore.
