Adrian was thrilled to soon receive a parting gift from his teacher, which he felt was more aptly described as an advancement gift. Clearly, had he not ascended to legendary status, he would never have laid eyes on it.
He stared blankly at the small box Diamant brought in front of him and couldn't help but ask, "Had I not become legendary, would this gift have vanished?"
Diamant answered very seriously, "This gift has nine layers, with one layer destroyed every year. If after ten years, sir, you are not legendary, then of course there will be nothing left."
