Looking up, he gazed at the sky. A thick smear of ink had diffused at the top of Heaven's Curtain.
Dark, heavy black clouds and fog mingled together, reducing the light to an extremely faint degree. Every inch of air contained energy particles even smaller than bacteria and microorganisms, named Calamities, altering the entire environment of the world. It used to be called the Depths, but now it was known as the World of Calamities.
The World of Calamities stretched desolate before him, dominated by shades of gray, white, and black.
Of course, there was occasionally the cruel embellishment of blood red.
Among the hills, beneath the mountain ranges, by the muddy lakesides, monstrous wild beasts known as Dark Creatures revelled in their slaughter. They possessed various bizarre abilities, adhering to the law of the survival of the fittest, ruthlessly venting their violence. Such was the underlying tone of the entire World of Calamities, where ultimate beings devoured everything.
