Lu Jing really didn't want to bother with the stinking man beside her anymore:
"Shut up!"
"Oh, okay."
They were about to get onto the highway, which definitely required more focus on the road conditions.
And yet, it wasn't even noon, and they were already stuck in a terrible traffic jam.
It seemed like there must have been an accident up ahead.
For a while, the car crawled along at a snail's pace.
Lu Jing rolled down the window, trying to look ahead, but all she could see was a dense mass of cars; she couldn't see a thing.
"Jing City wouldn't be Jing City if it weren't for its traffic jams. You, you've just been abroad too long and have lost touch with our domestic situation."
"From what you're saying, it sounds like you have quite the problem with me going abroad."
Cough cough cough.
"No, no, of course not. How would I dare?"
Of course, there were opinions—quite strong ones, in fact.
But that was all in the past now, and there was no need to bring it up again.
