First detain the man, no, first lock up the fat sheep in the pen and don't let him escape, then slowly deal with him later.
Now, the plane he could've boarded has already left, but more importantly, he's been thrown into a detention room with his hands tied up with straps.
Who can you even appeal to? Complain to the Pentagon that your soldiers mistreated someone from Afghanistan esteemed?
The critical point is who knows the names of those soldiers, and even if you did, what good would it do? Would a complaint even matter? If complaints were effective against the Pentagon, would it exist at all?
If complaints were truly effective, the U.S. military would have ceased to exist long ago.
The more experienced and knowledgeable one is, the better they understand their predicament.
