"Arrange for white flowers instead of the red ones," Bree said to Dion when she looked at the red roses that were brought to her office.
"Are you sure?" Dion paused and looked at her with a hint of surprise in his eyes. For the past three years, they had always used red flowers that looked as if they were bleeding. This was the first time Bree was asking the flowers to be changed, surprising him so much that he stopped taking notes and looked directly into her eyes.
Bree hummed. Though she liked the red roses, she didn't want the banquet hall to be covered with them. It was better to have a dreamy setup for the New Year's ball instead of a flaming red one. It might feel a bit gaudy.
