She stretched out her hands to hold Alice's cheeks, pressing her thumbs against the sides of her mouth, manually smoothing out the mischievous smirk that resembled a cat that got the cream.

She asked softly.
But Alice did not answer.
Instead, she withdrew a data cable from her left forearm and handed it to Cui Que.
Cui Que suddenly understood, quietly took the data cable, and plugged it into her waist.
As a former young mistress, Alice's level of prosthetic body augmentation was quite low.
Her arms were not prosthetic; they were simply implanted with an interface similar to the ones used by Elves.
Once they completed the physical link, they could communicate mentally.
