Aquarina began to realize the various shortcomings of her own fighting style, and how much refinement it required. She learned there was a long way to go before she could truly call herself a "master", and she did this while crushing and utterly destroying any monster on her way.
Even though she was winning, there was a lot of time while doing this to learn of her shortcomings. How her fighting style had focused too much on daggers at the beginning of her life due to her father's teachings.
Although she still considers daggers very strong weapons and her favorite ones, she was unable to put her full power into her fighting style with just daggers alone.
Abyssal Embodiment opened the path towards something stronger, more transcendental, to use her entire body as a weapon.
Her hands could become daggers, her legs could be hammers, axes, or swords, her head could be a hammer, crushing her foes with mighty headbutts, and her dragon tail, a spear or a whip.
