Birds started to chirp at the crack of dawn and it made Leah wonder at how long had it actually been since she had heard the chirping of a bird in the quietness of the morning.
Margaret lived a little further away from where she had found Leah. It seemed like a community where retired people lived. She had a good house, small, of course with what she had grown-up in, but a wonderfully kept house for someone who had a bad hip as she had been told last evening.
She had given her a very comfortable bed to sleep in, but Leah had found out later that when something weighed on your mind so heavily, one would always find it difficult to sleep. She had tossed and entered the entire night before she just gave up sleep and stared out of the window.
Now, she had decided to make herself some tea. Margaret had an excellent collection and Leah helped herself to. Since she was going to pay Margaret back, anyway, she might have been enjoying the little state that she was going to have here.
