The Temple Spirit and Stone Spirit bid Vaan farewell before he dived into the swirling vortex of luminescent water at the bottom of the well. As Vaan passed through the [Gate], he felt the distortion of space and time affect his body and a fearsome premonition of being torn to pieces sprouted in his heart.
The power of laws revolving around the water rift seemed incomparably grand and inviolable as Vaan flowed through the abyssal passage of darkness, partially illuminated by the blue luminescent water.
Nevertheless, before Vaan's fearsome premonition could become a reality, it suddenly vanished, replaced by overwhelming pressure bearing down on each inch and cell of his body.
Vaan was spat out of the other end of the water rift moments after. Knowing he was about to crash into solid ground, he twisted his body, repositioning himself, and successfully landed on both feet.
