After Fang Hao finished breakfast,
Bolton came over again. He first offered a smile to Eira as a gesture, then walked to Fang Hao's side.
"Sir, the clan leader asked me to convey some information to you," Bolton said as he stood by.
"What information? Let's hear it," Fang Hao asked, his curiosity piqued.
*Why hadn't Petty mentioned anything about this yesterday when we spoke?* Fang Hao thought to himself. *And yet, the message comes this morning, out of the blue.*
"Here's the thing—there's a set of ruins to the west of the village, currently held by a group of powerful elemental creatures," Bolton explained, carefully observing Fang Hao's reaction.
He wanted to see if Fang Hao would show interest.
Sure enough, the moment Fang Hao heard the news, his pupils lit up slightly.
The mere mention of ruins carried no small allure. To Fang Hao, they spelled opportunity—like a special, unexplored zone out in the wilderness.
"Go on," Fang Hao said.
