Yannis Griffith came out of the kitchen holding two cherry tomatoes, looking like he was in a good mood.
William Griffith ignored his presence and continued to flip through the magazine.
Dinner time came in a blink of an eye, and everyone took their seats around the table. Granny Griffith urged them to eat more vegetables, and William suddenly said, "I've decided to go back to work at the company."
The Griffith Family had always been strict with their rules, and they were not allowed to talk too much during meals. However, when he said this, Robert Griffith didn't scold him; instead, he looked surprised.
William turned to him and slowly said, "The vice president's position is empty, so I'll take over."
Robert just responded with a grunt, showing his approval.
"Granny, your cooking is really tasty. Cherish Turner, you're quite good too." Yannis enjoyed the meal with a bright smile on his face.
Cherish Turner looked down and ate her meal, relieved.
