Listening to his praise, Caroline Edwin raised an eyebrow with a teasing tone, "Then you, Director Fuller, should feel lucky to have me as such a virtuous and sensible girlfriend."

In the study, the atmosphere was warm.
Blake approached Caroline, bent down, and extended his hand to gently caress her unpowdered face.
The pads of his fingers, slightly calloused, met her skin, soft and smooth. The contact between them, along with the movement of his palm, sent shivers down her spine.
