Rita asked in utter confusion. Didn't he just say he didn't like good girls but liked bad girls the most? Then why did he suddenly change?
"Didn't I just say I like good girls? Weren't you listening?"
Alex replied to her in a matter-of-fact tone while slowly unmounting her exhausted, limp body, laying her by his right-hand side.
"B-But before y-you said- "
Rita was not convinced; if it was anything else, she would not dare to make trouble; however, this is her forte.
Alex said he likes the bad girls the most; so, by that logic, who is a more bad girl than a literal assassin? There is no one a badder girl around him than her.
Well, maybe her brain suppresses the memories of Alia's small dungeon, or she dare not say this at all.
"That was before, in the past, Can't I change my mind?"
Alex cut her off mid-sentence and clarified his statement. Yeah, he did say that, but can't he change his mind? Why is there so much drama?
