The next morning, having suffered severe mental exhaustion, Rupert looked as if he had aged decades overnight. His mental state was appalling. As soon as dawn broken, regardless of everything, he rushed to the highest peak nearby. Standing on top of the mountain, he spread out his arms, channeled all his energy, and shouted at the top of his lungs towards the entire Extinction Domain: "The master has arrived!".
"Guardians, show yourself—"
The voice echoed through the mountains, frightening flock of birds into flight and sending wild animals fleeing in disarray. However, throughout the Extinction Domain, there was still no sign of human presence...
Feelings of loneliness, loss and desperation filled Rupert's chest, nearly driving him to his knees.
What he didn't know was that he truly was the only person in the entire Seven Stars Mountain Extinction Region. He was utterly alone.
