Predecessor Santa had asked a question that Owen Bertram couldn't answer. Owen had tried to investigate this matter over the years, but he had no clues. Owen watched as Verna played with the divine light in her hand for a while before tossing it casually into the box. Once inside, the remnant soul of the Divine Lord immediately calmed down.
Santa explained, "The function of this box is to seal away the remnant soul, and it's very likely that the soul voluntarily sealed itself." Owen recalled that it was indeed very stable as long as he didn't take it out.
"This is its self-protection mechanism. If it's always in an 'active' state, its energy would continue to drain, and after all, it has become a sourceless water. Without self-sealing, it may dissipate its energy before finding a suitable host," said Santa.
