Of course, she told me that she was worried that something might've happened to me.
She said something like: "Did you know how worried I was? As a mother, I should always know where are you going, who are you with, and every other possible detail. Do you understand how much time you wasted? You could've studied. What will happen if you don't get a good job and don't earn enough money? What will happen to me then? You know that I am giving you food and warm clothes only because I want all of this money and even more in return when you grow up."
I agreed as always. Otherwise, I could've received even more talking.
After that, she told me to go study.
I started walking towards my room but suddenly she told me to stop.
"Did she see that I'm barefoot?"
Only this came to my mind.
She said: "I forgot to tell you the main part. You probably heard that I was arguing on the phone. Of course, it was with 'him', as always."
By 'him', she was referring to her boyfriend. Or I should say the man that gives us money currently to live.
He works in another country.
They were always arguing about something. I didn't really expect this. She said:
"Can you believe what he told me? That those magical "orbs" are real. And that he got one. He said that he has magical abilities!"
"Really?"
"Yes, of course, I didn't believe him at first but he told me to look outside. I didn't go out today because for some reason I felt tired. Anyway, he sent me an image which showed me that he really has special abilities. At first, I thought that he used Photoshop but this is impossible. You know how bad he is with technology. There is no way for him to make something like this. I told him to send me a video, which he'll even more surely not be able to edit."
"And he sent a video to you?"
"Yes. It is really true. He got some kind of unnatural superpowers. I mean, not normal powers. His arms were probably 10 times bigger than their normal size and he could lift a whole car as if it was a feather. Can you believe this?"
"Of course, I can. I had school, I was outside and I saw a lot of people getting "orbs". I felt it unfair that I didn't receive one." This reminded me that some of my classmates received too...….
