An extreme sense of crisis surged in Shard's heart, and then everyone saw it. They saw the cloaked, gaunt black giant rising from behind Joey Barton.
A massive shadow covered everyone on the ice, and at that moment the world seemed to fall completely silent. No one could see what was inside the cloak, but they all could see that black scythe.
"Is this the true power of the Chosen by Death..."
The huge pitch-black scythe slowly swept across the ice, seemingly so slow, yet time appeared to stop with the swing of that scythe. Shard understood, having witnessed True Death, that this was a strike imbued with the essence of death and termination; any creature struck would instantly step into death.
"Scythe of the Grim Reaper."
Joey Barton sighed lightly as the dark glimmer swept across everyone on the ice. The ice merely cracked into powder upon being touched by the scythe, raising massive waves, and death would terminate everything.
"Balance!"
