Perhaps because Sister Delphine had already cleared all the enemies in this corridor beforehand, even though the burning corridor caused some hindrance to Shard's movement, he encountered no more enemies as he continued on.
The wine cellar was in the basement, and the door leading to the basement was locked. On the black iron door were wondrous images of gigantic beasts being eaten by humans and humans being devoured by the same creatures.
When Shard reached out to open the door with the "Key of the Door," the images on the door suddenly twisted and transformed into a huge human face:
"Give me all your Gluttony, and I'll let you pass,"
The humming sound, accompanied by the trembling of the iron door, formed an unclear voice.
"All of my Gluttony? No, that won't do,"
Shard shook his head and reached out to touch the door, but a tremendous force pushed him backward.
"Unless you give me the sin, you shall not pass,"
The face became ferocious.
