Shard made a dry comment, not continuing the subject. Instead, Priest Augustus remembered something else and, holding his pipe, asked Shard:
"Tomorrow, that is, Tuesday evening, there's a large banquet in the city. The location is within the courtyard of Midshire Fort Mechanical Academy and part of the castle, where the nobles and merchants of the city, including the Church, have been invited. I have received an invitation, Detective, are you interested in going with me? I can get another invitation."
"A banquet? Who's hosting it? What's the theme?"
Shard asked.
