Chapter 6 - Gone

"This is Miss Mary's room. Since she is not around now, we could wait somewhere first and come here again with Miss Marry when she's back," Liam hurriedly explained. He would get in trouble if something happened.

Renessa pretended not to hear the man's words and smiled mockingly as she looked around the room. Dolls, decoration lights on the wall, family pictures that filled one side of the wall. Her personal library in the corner was gone and changed into an album and achievement's corner.

Renessa could guess that her sister must be adored by her parents. She then walked toward the album and achievement's corner and took one photo frame there. It took her a whole minute to recognize someone there. It was her father.

Renessa frowned before narrowed her eyes as she looked at that picture. She almost thought that it was a stranger she saw in the picture. She almost did not recognize the man since he smiled so bright. He never even showed her a slight smile when he was with her.

The only time the man ever showed an expression that close to a smile was the time she tried to approach him with a flower in her hand. He did smile, but now that she remembered it, it was a sarcastic smile.

Her father was laughing happily while carrying a teenage girl in his arms. From the small bronze cup and the tutu skirt the girl wore, Renessa knew that this must be a ballet competition. Anyone who looked at her father's smile must have thought that the girl had just won an olympic or world championship.

Renessa smiled cynically when she remembered her father's disgusted look when she proudly showed her big trophy for a painting competition when she was 8 years old.

Renessa sighed and put the photo back on the initial place. There were still tons of photos there, but she felt that looking at them one by one will only make her drown in the lake named envy. She then walked around while looked at all the objects in the room was with a feeling of disappointment and hurt. She did not want to feel that way, but still he was her father, the man she always sought approval from.

The envy she felt right now made her throat hurt. Things she tried so hard to earn was something someone else got without even lifting a finger. She walked around and observed everything quietly.

Liam calmly observed Renessa with worry. He could not do anything since his feelings told him that Renessa is the real owner of the house. Rosalin also confirmed so therefore Liam did not act harshly toward the girl.

"Call some footman here," Renessa gave orders.

Liam froze in his spot. His mind suddenly goes blank. He had a bad feeling. He was sure that if he did what he was told, he would be blamed for sure when his master came back later.

Liam took a glance toward the woman beside him. He tried to ask for help since Rosaline might know how to persuade the girl. Although he had to be disappointed since Rosaline lowered down her head as if she did not know anything.

Liam took a deep breath before starting to persuade Renessa, "Miss, I think if you want to have this room, it will be wiser if we wait for master and madam to come home first." Liam was worried about how his master would react when he's back. Renessa was his master's first daughter, but he could not ignore the fact that his master loved Marry like his own child. He will be mad if Mary was upset because her sister suddenly came and took her room.

As for Miss Renessa? These new maids in the house had probably never heard of her name. He, who is a butler, has only ever seen the name of their employer's biological child from some of the documents and even letters that have come to the house occasionally. Although Miss Renessa does not live in this house, he knew for a fact that this house belongs to Miss Renessa, left by her mother. Miss Renessa is also the legal owner of the company currently managed by his master Rudi Santoso.

"If they do not come here in five minutes, I will start to destroy all the stuff in the room, Liam," Renessa said the words slowly with a sarcastic smile on her face, looking at some of the trophies in the cupboard glass.

Renessa's gentle and soft voice made Liam not believe he was being threatened. Although when his mind started to proceed with the words, Liam did not waste any second and immediately rushed to call several men in the house. From Miss Renessa's gaze, he could tell that the girl was serious about destroying the cupboard containing the trophies that Miss Mary was proud of and showed to anyone.

Liam returned in five minutes with five other men with steward attire. They looked at Renessa who was standing in the middle of the room with confusion on their face.

"Empty this room now. Move all the items in the room to the storehouse," Renessa gave orders.

The waiter seemed confused and turned to look at Liam, waiting for confirmation.

"She is Miss Renessa. The first daughter of our master, Rudi Santoso. You can follow her words."

The five men seemed surprised when they listened to the explanation, even though after that they started to move all the things inside the room under Renessa's command. After an hour, Renessa saw that there was still a lot of stuff to be moved. Now that they started to take out all the things from the wardrobe and other small stuff, the room started to look like a wrecked ship.

Realizing that they would have to work all day with their current numbers, Renessa told Liam to call all the maids who were not doing urgent tasks. Renessa nodded her head with satisfaction when she realized that her decision to call for more people was right. Five men was just not enough since they had to empty the wardrobe from all clothing, handbags, shoes, cosmetics, and accessories that filled the walk-in closet.

Liam calls almost all the maids to Mary's room to help with the moving process.

At three in the afternoon, the room was already completely changed. The room looks empty without the wall decoration, glass case where Mary put all her pictures, and the pink fur carpet in the middle of the room. The only things left were a bed and a simple dressing table that were moved from the guest room.

Renessa looked around the room with satisfaction in her eyes and sat on the bed. The room was specially designed by her mother. Everything she needed used to be there. Her room even had the perfect scenery because she could enjoy the rose garden that was right in front of the window. When she opened the window in the morning, she could smell the fresh fragrance of the rose. Sadly, the rose garden was gone now and replaced with tulips.

Renessa chuckled when she remembered how she acted today. She was a bit petty by snatching back her room from her sister. She was so disappointed at her father for letting his new wife burn all her mother album photos. She wanted to annoy her father.
