Everyone stared at Seth after she finished speaking. Now, they're also wondering how come it is like that.
Seth thought that they didn't believe her, so she used her nanites to show a hologram that perfectly simulated the armory scenario. They began to see details of piling up dust and sand that covered the floor as all the cables tangled in each other. There's one sword stab into a cable while on the other side there's severed cables sparks of electricity exuding from it, the distinctive sound of crackling wrung through the room.
Seth showing an exasperated expression, "See the mess I have to deal with? hm?"
Crosh worried, "You sure it's not the works of an intruder?"
Dersse pointed at a long tail of a rat, "Guess that's the intruder you're referring to Crosh."
Crosh eyes widens, "oh that's a Kerlyn rat, a delicacy in my planet. let me cook it so you all could try it. We have Jarein fruits right?"
Sho clears her throat, "ekhmm Crosh, care to explain?"
Crosh realizing, "Oh, sorry about that. I guess that lill fella got in when I load the Jarein fruits for my snack."
Dersse being the tech guy, "Is the this live? Cause that thing just crawled to a very important wiring port."
Sectina and the others panics quickly examining it, "It did what?!"
The Kerlyn rat chewing on the port cable creating a hole for it to crawl into. Crosh feeling guilty and responsible for all this quickly ran out of the cockpit to catch that in cursened Kerlyn rat from causing further harm. Everyone soon follows suit. They all rushed to catch it, forgetting the fact they could just teleport there using their AA badge.
Crosh was the first one to reach the armory room and turning on the lights. Realizing that his claws doesn't fit the small hole. He uses a pincet nearby to catch it, successfully preventing further harm by the Kerlyn rat. The others than join in the armory room.
Sho then asks, "It's quite small, I don't think it would be filling to eat."
Crosh nods, "True, that's why it's a delicacy that only a few can enjoy. Well they do reproduce very quickly so we usually farm them to eat them whenever."
Dersse providing a container to Crosh,"Crosh, put it in here."
Crosh then puts the Kerlyn Rat in it, "Thanks Dersse."
Sectina then addresses the elephant in the room, "Most of the cables here are busted. Guess we need to buy some supplies."
Seth then gave suggestion, "Well, I heard good things about the night market in Desserrtos. Their rich minerals made them a renowned place for hardware making."
Sectina then commended, "Seth go with Dersse to scout the supplies we need from the market."
Dersse questioned, "Why not buy it while we're there so it's not redundant."
Seth then poses another question, "Who's paying for it?"
Sectina nods,"Good question."
Crosh then chimed in, "Just take it from my cut since I did cause this whole ordeal."
Sectina then shakes her head, "I appreciate the thought, but this isn't entirely your fault for you didn't mean any of this to happen. Besides you cooking that rat is apology enough. Let's just use mine."
The others then rejected, "What?! No! That's unfair to you."
Sectina then laughs amused by all this, "Relax, it's not truly mine anyway. Mom gave it to me for funsies so we could also enjoy this journey."
The others all breath in relief at the assurance.
Sho asking the question they were all thinking, "How much were you given?"
Sectina helplessly shrugs, "Way too much for a single journey."
Dersse envious, "Lucky. I wish my mom was also like that."
Sho shivers, "Isn't she scary. The air around her seems to be frozen and she just looks menacing and cru-."
Sectina clears her throat not liking her mom being called harsh things," Ekhmm... Sho"
Sho then shuttered her mouth shut and closing it with her hands for good measures. The others then laugh at the amusing scene before them.
Seth wanting to go home as soon as possible, "Let's send the supplies while we're buying the hardware we needed."
Sectina facepalmed, "Oh yeah, we did have that mission, didn't we?" she then rummaged her pockets and takes out a bag full of the currency needed handing it to Dersse, "Here's the money for the equipments."
Dersse gladly receiving it, "Wew.. quite the huge sum. Thanks, I'll be able to buy the finest quality with this much."
Seth then added, "I'll deliver the supplies that way it's a two birds one stone trip."
Sectina commended, "The sooner we send these supplies out; the more time we'll have for sightseeing", claps her hands, "kay, that's settles it. You both we'll go to the city while the rest of us watches Crosh cooks."
Crosh added, "it'll take 40 minutes, do with that information as you will."
Dersse thanks him while Seth was already leaving the premise with the supplies to deliver to the market.
Dersse noticing he was left behind, "Seth, wait up."
Seth not stopping but slowing her steps so Dersse can catches up with her. They both exiting the spaceship and began walking to the city nearby.
