Vladimars stared at Krista startled and uncertain.
Markos frowned as he tried to understand what Krista was implying. "Ilvarus is haunting Vladimars because… he is his ancestor? Or at least, reminds him of his lost family? It's been centuries." He wondered.
"…That would explain so much if…" Vladimars blinked at that. "I was feeling out out with all this talk of legacy and family. Partners and lovers while I am here alone," he admitted with an undignified sigh. "But this means I am meant to be here as well. If nothing else to redeem the loss of my ancestor."
Or to make the same mistake. Markos's brows furrowed at the thought. It all seems too convenient. She's still not telling us why she is here. I want to believe with all my heart she's not lying to us but I can't shake the feeling. I feel that she is powerful enough to avoid what I can do to divine truth from her.
