Skyy's heart felt like it was about to explode out of his chest as he sprinted through the narrow hallways.
His legs moved on instinct, driven by pure panic, his breaths coming out in short, ragged gasps.
His lungs burned, and the taste of fear was bitter in his throat. He hadn't meant to end up in this mess. I should've stayed inside… should've warned Chen, he berated himself between gasps.
The base, once familiar, now felt like a maze. The passages blurred together as he turned corner after corner, the weight of the thieves' pursuit heavy behind him. His mind raced. I don't even know where I'm going!
As he whipped around another corner, he came face-to-face with one of the thieves.
"Oh its that beauty I was sad we missed out on you. Good thing you came here. Come to daddy. Let me ravish you." The man had a greasy grin plastered on his face, his eyes gleaming with sinister intent.
