Many students were truly shocked by Michael being chosen as one of the representatives. It was true that Michael had shown incredible progress, from the bottom of the martial arts course to one of the best in the school. Still, even with that amazing feat, the students felt that he was barely at the same level as Mugami Shin and Mikado Kira.
Michael was not as good tactically as Kira and he was not as fierce as Shin. The only advantage Michael had among the others was his ability to hide his presence nearly perfectly.
The students started talking wondering why it was Michael who was chosen and not the other two.
The silent murmurs grew louder and louder. Even though it was a decision made by Sir Hakai some of the students especially those that got eliminated during the third test felt that the decision was wrong. Of course, Hakai who was near the top of the Grandmaster rank could hear every word those people said.
