Team one meets up at the training grounds.
Ray: Why are we here? I could be doing important stuff!
Kichi: This is important. You are going to train.
Nanami: Is there something you're teaching us?
Kichi: Yeah, to get stronger. Your first mission in three years, and you had to fight against Renjiro.
Ray: You're talking about him like he is some god! He's weaker than me!
Kichi: Renjiro has been labeled a S class threat.
Everyone goes silent.
Ray: The fuck does that mean?!
Kichi: He is to only be apprehended by jonin. He is so powerful that they will need a team of jonin to take him down.
Kenzo: You could probably take him down.
Kichi: I'm also one of if not the strongest ninja in the leaf.
Nanami: What about the Sannin?
Kichi is almost startled by hearing the word Sannin. Then there is more silence.
Kichi: You guys will be training today. You are nowhere near jonin level. All of you are at the normal chunin level. That's why I decided to get a few people to help you train.
Four people walk up to them. The first is the team captain Kaori Kaguya. His skin is vampire white, he has red eyes, and white hair. He is wearing a white shirt and black shorts. He then wears an open kimono over His shirt. The kimono is blue with light blue on the edges and white sleeves. Next is Diamond lee. He has pale skin and green hair. Then his shirt is orange with purple sleeves. Then he has a vanilla belt, and purple pants. After him is Yoshito Hyuga. He has brown hair with blond ends. Then he has a black sleeveless shirt and a white belt with a black stripe in the middle. Then he has black pants. He is holding a giant fan with blades on the ends. Last is Fudo Kurama. He has light brown hair and pale skin. He has a blue tank top on with a black sweatshirt that hangs below his shoulders. Then he has black pants.
Nanami: Fudo, I thought you were on three.
Fudo: I was. Until Renjiro killed Ace and Asami.
Nanami: He betrayed the whole leaf village.
Fudo: He's an outlaw as he should be.
There is silence for a bit.
Kichi: So Kaori. Did you figure out who would match up best with who?
Kaori: Of course I have. Lee is with Nanami, Yoshita is with Kenzo, and Fudo is with Ray.
They all pair up.
Kichi: You may begin!
Lee and Nanami run at each other. Nanami punches. Lee dodges the punch, and elbows Nanami in the stomach. Nanami stumbles back, and Lee roundhouse kicks her in the ribs. Nanami falls to the ground. Kenzo starts running around Yoshita. Yoshita's eyes go completely white and veins pop out around his eyes.
Yoshita: Byuakugan!
Kenzo runs around Yoshita, and then comes in for a punch. Yoshita taps his arm, and then his other arm. Finally Yoshita palms Kenzo in the stomach, and Kenzo falls down. Fudo instantly put Ray into a genjutsu.
Kichi: You guys are pitiful.
Kenzo: I can't even feel my arms!
Yoshita: I hit your chakra points. They will release if you give them a few minutes.
Kaori: Hopefully your Uchiha will be able to break out of that genjutsu. He does have sharingan after all.
Kichi: He doesn't use his sharingan for genjutsu.
Kaori: Does he even use ninjutsu?
Kichi: I think he is trying to use mostly genjutsu.
Kaori shakes his head.
Kaori: It would be like if I decided to use ninjutsu instead of my kekkei genkai.
Nanami: You have a kekkei genkai?
Kichi: He has bone release. Now keep training. You have the strength to be as powerful as the foes you are facing. You just need to use your abilities to the fullest.
Kaori(whispering): Yeah, maybe they could match my guys if they aren't really trying to win.
Kichi(whispering): I never gave them the details.
Kenzo gets up again.
Kenzo(in head): I need to find a way to beat him while not allowing him to get a hit.
Kichi: Begin!
Yoshita palms Kenzo and Kenzo goes back down. Renjiro punches his enemy in the head, and the enemy falls to the ground.

Renjiro Turns to Hanako. Hanako kicks her opponent back.
Hanako: Water Style: Liquid Bullet!
Hanako shoots a water ball at her opponent knocking him down. Renjiro and Hanako are on an island off the coast of the Hidden Mist Village. They just took down two ninja guards at the gate of the docks. They walk into the village and everyone starts giving them dirty looks.
Renjiro: What's this mission again?
Hanako: It's a surprise.
Renjiro: Why?
Hanako: What did I just say?
Renjiro sighs and they keep walking. A ninja walks up to them.
Mist Ninja: Why are you here? This is a small village. We have nothing for you.
Hanako: We're here to take down the bandits.
Mist Ninja: Why?
Hanako whispers in the guy's ear so Renjiro can't hear. Renjiro shakes his head as she does it.
Mist Ninja: I'll lead you.
The mist ninja leads them through town.
Mist Ninja: My name is Teruyoshi. I protect this village the best I can from the raiders.
Renjiro looks around and sees the people struggling, and the crops dried.
Renjiro: You're clearly not doing a good job.
Teruyoshi: I wish I could do more. I am only one ninja, and I'm not that powerful.
Renjiro: Did the Hidden Mist assign you here?
Teruyoshi: No, they didn't. I was born here. They could only afford one person to get shinobi training. I was the strongest in my village so I went, but I'm still not strong enough to protect them.
They all walk in silence.
Hanako: Why don't we work together!
Renjiro scowls at Hanako. Hanako pulls on the back of his shirt.
Hanako: We don't know how many ninja are even there. You could help us out.
Teruyoshi: Thank you.
Teruyoshi leads them up a hill. They all lay on their stomachs and overlook the bandit camp. There are a few watch towers, and little huts spread around. The whole camp is in a wooden pillared wall.
Renjiro: I've counted fifteen ninja.
Teruyoshi: Close. You're missing the captain. The captain doesn't leave his base until a raid.
Renjiro: How strong is this captain?
Teruyoshi: Far stronger than me.
Renjiro: Not helpful.
Renjiro gets up.
Teruyoshi: Get down!
Renjiro: I'm going in.
Renjiro runs to the wall. Then scales it with one jump. He landed on the top of pillar's points.
Renjiro: Come get me!
Renjiro jumps into the bandit camp.
Teruyoshi: Does he always do this? A ninja's best asset is stealth.
Hanako laughs.
Hanako: Renjiro's best asset is not his stealth. Let's go. We gotta back him up.
Hanako runs in, and jumps over the wall. Teruyoshi looks confused. Then he runs in through the entrance while everyone is fighting. Renjiro sends out a fireball, and it blasts three ninja back. Another ninja slashes his sword at Renjiro. Renjiro grabs the sword with his hand, and kicks the ninja. The ninja lets go of the sword, and stumbles back. Renjiro flips the sword, and throws it into the ninja he just kicked back. Hanako is running into battle and she is surrounded by four ninja. They all get ready to send out jutsu. Hanako starts doing hand symbols.
Hanako: Water Style: Great Shark Bullet!
A shark made of water appears. The ninja sends out their jutsu. The shark absorbs the jutsu into its mouth, and hits the four ninja. A ninja runs at Teruyoshi. The ninja punches at him. Teruyoshi dodges under the punch, and punches the ninja in the stomach. The ninja grabs onto Teruyoshi's shoulders and knees him in the stomach. Teruyoshi falls down, and kicks the ninja in the leg. The ninja falls down as well. Then Teruyoshi takes out a kunai and stabs the ninja in the throat. Another ninja runs up to finish Teruyoshi, and Teruyoshi throws a kunai that lands in the ninja's knee. Teruyoshi kicks the kunai deeper into the ninja's knee. Then Teruyoshi starts making hand symbols.
Teruyoshi: Water Style: Liquid Bullet!
The ninja is blasted back by a ball of water. Then an annoyed man comes out of the biggest tent in the camp. He has dark blue short hair with the black sides cut down. His top is left long and slicked back. He has a few strands of hair on his face. He has an armored sleeveless vest on and blue pants. He has a blade on his back, but Renjiro can't make it out. The man looks around at his men. The bandits start getting up after the attacks that Renjiro and Nanami did. Everyone is still as the man is walking. Then the man stops.
Man: Do you know who I am?!
Renjiro: My target.
The man gets furious.
Man: My name is Kota Tozoku!
Renjiro's eyes widened for a split second.
Kota: I am one of the seven swordsmen of the mist!
Renjiro: Hanako, Teruyoshi, get back!
Kota: Men, you know what to do!
The bandits circle around them.
Kota: You wear a jacket?!
Renjiro: I guess I'll have to take it off for this fight.
Hanako looks shocked. Renjiro throws off his jacket. The jacket flies into the air, and lands on the ground. The sky starts to drizzle. Renjiro is wearing a no shirt and black pants. Then he has fingerless gloves that go up his forearm. On Top of those gloves are purple wrap. That same purple wrap is around Renjiro's calf. Renjiro has a sword on the back of his waist. Then Renjiro has a giant scar across his chest.
Kota: Looks like you have been through one hell of a battle.
Renjiro: It was.
Kota: This'll be your last.
Kota takes out his sword. His sword's blade looks like a thin dragon's head. The dragon's jaw is closed. Renjiro takes out his sword.
Renjiro: We can stop comparing sword sizes now. I'm ready to take you down.
Kota runs at Renjiro, and slashes his blade. Renjiro blocks the attack. Kota starts hitting Renjiro with medium hard hitting slashes. Renjiro has no problem blocking all the attacks. Renjiro elbows Kota in the stomach. Kota, then, as he gets hit, swings his blade at Renjiro. Renjiro blocks the blade with his arm. The blade cuts into Renjiro's arm giving him a gash. Then Kota pulls his blade back to him, slashing the rest of Renjiro's arm. Renjiro jumps back and holds his arm.
Kota: Giving up already?
Renjiro: Give up? The battle just started.
As Renjiro lets go of his arm it has already stopped bleeding. Renjiro shoots a fireball. Kota cuts the fireball in half. Then as the fireball clears from his vision Renjiro appears.
Renjiro: Rasengan!
Renjiro hits Kota in the stomach with the rasengan, and Kota goes flying back. His bandits catch him, and throw him back in the circle. Kota lands on his knees.
Renjiro: Even your bandits treat you bad.
Kota: They respect our traditions. They do as I have asked.
Kota gets back up holding his stomach.
Kota: At first I was just playing around.
Renjiro: I could tell. I'm not that kind of enemy.
Kota: I can see.
Kota slicks his hair back.
Kota: I'll have to go all out.
Kota runs up to Renjiro at great speeds. Their blades clash back and forth. The bandits can barely see what they are doing at the speed they are going. The clink of blades cashing is all anyone can hear. Then they hear the shatter of a blade. Renjiro's blade shatters into pieces. Renjiro starts bobbing and weaving back and forth. Then as Renjiro tries to jump back Kota thrusts his blade into him. Renjiro gets a cut on his stomach. Renjiro lands on his feet.
Renjiro: Maybe that would have done something if that actually cut into me.
Kota: It was a sign of your doom.
Renjiro: Is that so?
Kota runs at Renjiro. Renjiro shoots out many small fireballs. Kota dodges some of them and slices through others. Renjiro jumps above Kota. Kota looks up. Renjiro is making hand seals. Then Renjiro shoots a giant beam of lava out of his mouth. The beam slams down on Kota. Renjiro holds the beam there for a second and then drops to the ground. As the dust vanishes Renjiro sees Kota standing there unfazed. Kota's dragon blade's jaw is now open with a red light coming from the jaw. Kota points the dragon blade at Renjiro. The same beam Renjiro shot out comes out of the dragon blade and slams into Renjiro. Renjiro is blasted back. The bandits catch him, and throw him back into the ring. Renjiro lands on his knees looking down.
Renjiro: We're keeping secrets now
Kota: I don't need to tell you anything.
Renjiro gets up off the ground. Renjiro looks at Kota with the three tomoe sharingan.
Renjiro: I'll have to try harder to take you down.
Kota: Should have been obvious.
Renjiro calms down and looks focused. Kota runs at Renjiro. Kota swipes his blade. Renjiro ducks under it and punches Kota in the jaw. Kota goes for an elbow. Renjiro ducks under it, and jabs Kota in the stomach over and over. Kota throws a kunai at Hanako. Renjiro jumps to the side, and grabs the kunai. Kota stabs Renjiro in the stomach. Renjiro falls to the ground.
Hanako: No!
Kota stands over Renjiro and looks Renjiro in his eyes.
Kota: It's over. You were a tough opponent.
Renjiro: Yeah, it is over.
Everything disappears in front of Kotas eyes. Kota sees Renjiro standing in front of him
Renjiro: You lose.
Then in the real world Kota is standing over Renjiro. Renjiro gets up and slashes Kota's throat with his kunai.
Renjiro: I killed your leader.
Renjiro picks up the dragon blade.
Renjiro: The spoils go to the victor. None of you bandits will try to attack this town again.
Bandit: Without our leader we'll leave and never return.
Renjiro: I thought so.
Renjiro limps out of the circle.
Renjiro: Lets go Hanako.
Hanako starts following Renjiro.

Nanami does a few hand signs.
Nanami: Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison Jutsu.
Wood comes up from the ground surrounding Diamond Lee with a prison. Then spikes appear inside the cave. Kenzo and Yoshita are running around each other. Yoshita goes to hit Kenzo's arm. Kenzo slides under Yoshita's attack, and creates a chidori. Kenzo then turns around and slams the chidori in Yoshita's back. All of this happening while Ray is in the genjutsu.
Ray: One more time. I will break this!
Ray puts his hands together.
Ray: Renjiro!
Ray wakes up and gets off the ground.
Kichi: You can all stop. Ray, you finally broke out of the genjutsu.
Fudo: I was running out of chakra. He was bound to break out sometime.
Ray: I did that completely on my own with no help! I am a god!
Kichi: Everyone get ready to go to Ichiraku Ramen.
Kaori(whispering): I see why you said your chunin have the power to be as strong as their foes. They haven't fought in a while, but they are powerful. Kenzo's speed is hard to deal with on top of his strong jutsu. Nanami has wood release and strength that out classes jonin. Ray… is lacking.
Kichi: I have a feeling he'll catch up.
Kaori: Not with what he's doing now. He decided mid training to make taijutsu his strength. All it's done is set him back in everything.
Kichi: Just wait. I know he has power. Even if it is really deep below the surface.

Renjiro and Hanako are sitting at a campfire while it's dark out. Hanako is wrapping up Renjiro's wounds.
Renjiro: I'll be fine.
Hanako: Why do you hate when people take care of you?
Renjiro: I've had to take care of myself my whole life. That's what I'm used to.
Hanako: Renjiro, you almost died. You were barely able to damage Kato. Your usually able to take down jonin.
Renjiro: I guess I'm off my game. I'll be fine.
Hanako looks at him angry.
Renjiro: What?
Hanako: Off your game?! You were on your deathbed. If you didn't use a genjutsu you would be dead!
Renjiro puts his hand on Hanako's head.
Renjiro: I'll get my head in the game, and be more careful.
Hanako: You shouldn't have tried to get that kunai.
Renjiro: I'd do it again. You're my family. I will protect you even if I get hurt in the process.
Hanako: Just promise me you won't die. You'll always be here.
Renjiro: I'll always be here to protect you.
Ray leaves the ramen shop. He is walking past the old training grounds and starts thinking.
