Benjamin Jones looked at Abigail Green, puzzled by her sudden outburst: "Gills City?"
"Yes." If Abigail had a trace of hesitation when she first made the decision, she was now determined after Benjamin questioned her.
"Can you give me a reason?" Benjamin looked into Abigail's eyes and asked seriously. He knew Abigail wasn't a reckless person. Her behavior in court today was already out of character. Why would she change her mind and go to Gills City for no reason? He had a gut feeling it was related to Brandon Piers.
Only something related to Brandon Piers seemed to drive Abigail to such lengths.
Abigail hesitated for a moment, then turned on her phone. The screen was paused at a certain point. She bit her lip, "I think he's Brandon."
Benjamin's gaze shifted to Abigail's screen, looking at the ordinary face displayed. He was slightly puzzled as to how she had concluded this person was Brandon Piers.
