Time moved forward.
"Tap, tap, tap..."
Pandora ran out of the courtyard and onto the street, looking all around. The street was empty; there was nothing.
"Sigh—"
Pandora pursed her lips, tilted her head and thought for a moment, then ran towards one end of the street. She ran all the way to the end of the street and saw a carriage approaching from afar, coming closer and closer. A man in his fifties with partially grey hair, thin and gaunt, was carefully driving the horse.
Pandora's eyes brightened because she recognized the coachman; it was the same one Richard had introduced to her yesterday.
Pandora immediately raised her hand and waved.
The coachman saw Pandora and waved back in greeting.
As Pandora stepped closer, her eyes suddenly twinkled.
She saw the carriage, which had been moving smoothly, suddenly enveloped by an invisible force, lifted from the ground, and flew upwards.
