The flame swallowing turtles moved fairly quickly and Walker was easily able to move with them while everyone else took pace well too. There was not much worry in the landscape so far which seemed to just be various flames covering a darker black land.
While Walker understood this wasn't actual land because it was actually condensed forms of fire mana which made up the fire elemental planes, others would easily interpret this as land or earth that had been charred black.
The elemental planes were the purer forms of their elemental manas and that was easily felt in the ways that they were penetrating everyone's bodies. Their training and the measures take to help resist them were major right now. Too many risks were appearing while they traveled.
