The man wore an appropriately fitted black suit, his complexion mild. Upon seeing Chi Gui, he nodded respectfully, "Professor Chi."
He handed the documents over to Chi Gui with both hands.
Chi Gui received them, "Thank you, you've worked hard."
"No trouble at all." The man smiled lightly, "I won't disturb you any longer, have a good evening."
After speaking, he nodded to Xing Gu, greeted him, and then headed downstairs.
Xing Gu glanced at the man but didn't say anything.
Chi Gui returned home and spread about ten pages of documents on the table. His eyes swiftly scanned them, and in just ten seconds, he filtered out the useful information.
"The Fu Family's collateral branch?" Chi Gui raised his eyebrow slightly, a bit surprised.
In the evening, as usual, Fu Si came over for dinner.
During the meal, Chi Gui, breaking his usual reticence, initiated a conversation, "Zhang Ziyi, do you know this person?"
