Zhou Wei's office.
When Zhou Wei saw Chi Gui push the door open, the amiable smile on his face immediately turned into one of benevolent affection, as if an elder had finally seen his granddaughter.
"It looks like you've been doing well in Nancheng, you've even gained a little weight," Zhou Wei said with a smile.
Chi Gui pulled out a chair and sat across from Zhou Wei, placing her left hand on the table, "Don't make fun of me."
Zhou Wei didn't say anything more and gave Chi Gui a thorough examination, then sent her to get an X-ray to confirm that she was indeed recovering slowly.
"Take care these next few months; don't overwork your hand. You should be healed in another year," Zhou Wei said at last with a relieved smile.
Chi Gui didn't show much reaction, her right hand touching the wrist of her left, smiling as she said, "You were the one who performed the surgery for me, how could there be any lasting injury?"
