Ruanruan habitually rubbed her head against Jiang Jincheng's hand, then blinked, watery eyes looking up at him.
The mist in her eyes appeared when she yawned, but it also made her eyes look even brighter and more beautiful.
"Mhm, I'm sleepy. Class is almost over; I'll just go to the classroom and lie down for a bit."
Jiang Jincheng softly hummed in acknowledgment and then squatted down in front of her.
"Come on, I'll carry you back to the classroom on my back. You can nap there for a while."
Ruanruan felt embarrassed, "That's okay. We're at school. It wouldn't be good if other students saw us."
She cared about her image, and being seen like this would be embarrassing. She was too grown up to still need her brother to carry her.
Jiang Jincheng simply grabbed Ruanruan and swung her onto his back without further ado.
Suddenly being lifted, the girl let out a yelp and quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.
