Carmen eyed the man again. This time, she noticed the red tinge in his eyes, and she automatically got her eyes down. He was just so intimidating. She couldn't look at him long enough. It was her first time meeting someone so undeniably powerful. It was too much that even if he had his hands by his side, she felt like it was wrapped around her throat.
