Monica - "Are you kidding me?"
Master - "Nope. Don't worry about it, you make a decision after you see my son."
Thomas (Shocked)- "Father! How could you?"
Master - "What! What did I do?"
Thomas - "I love her! How could you let my elder brother marry her? Am I not your son?"
Master - "Shut up your mouth! Go to your room, this matter is between her and your elder brother."
Thomas - "I don't want to. I can't let him marry the one I love."
Master slapped him.
Master - "You are not alike with your mother. Go! Before I change up my mind!"
Thomas clenched his hand as he wanted to punch his father but he did not do it.
Monica - "Do you want me to keep waiting? This is not K-drama so, let get to the point. Where is your elder son?"
Someone walks slowly and directly got close to Monica. He tried to hug her but, she pushed him away.
Master - "This is him, Glenn. Do you like him?"
Monica - "Hmm. Wait a minute! Is this marriage agreed by my father?"
Master - "Of course. But I didn't know you work with the International President, what a destiny to you and my elder son."
Monica - "Huh? "
Monica's thought - "His brother is quite handsome but, his personality.. What kind of man is him? Look like he like to flirt but I somehow recognize him. Whatever! Maybe I have mistaken."
Monica - "I am not saying that I am agreed with this but how could two people married without knowing each other."
Glenn - "You don't remember me, Mon?"
Monica - "Sorry, I actually don't know you. Who are you?"
Glenn - "I.. You have promised me that you will marry me if we meet again one day. Don't you remember that promise, Mon?"
Monica tried to catch a glimpse in her memories. She then realized that she have a childhood friend but, after they moved out, both of them never meet each other again.
Monica - "Glenn? Huh, you are the nerd boy. Sorry! I totally forgot my promise."
She looked at his desperate face. He gritted his teeth. He held both of her shoulders.
Glenn - " Mon.. I don't care because promise is a promise. You can't just break it, I was searching for you since the day you left me. I don't want to be alone again."
Monica - "Eeehh.. It's just.. Let we know each other better and if I like you then, we can get married.
Glenn brought her to the backyard.
Glenn - "Really! Let me bring you to the backyard, I planted your favorite flowers and it has blooming."
Monica (Shocked) - "Wow! It's so beautiful, this are white lilies and that are lavender flowers. I can't describe how beautiful, is it?"
Monica hugged Glenn while he was totally happy that he finally get to be together with his love.
Thomas - "Big brother, seems that you two having fun together. Can I join?"
Glenn - "No, this is my date with her. There are many places that I want her to visit."
He held her face. In front of them, Thomas clenched his hands again. This time, his elder brother was really driving him up the wall. But he stopped, when he saw Monica was smiling at his brother.
Monica - "Really? What is a kind of the places that you want me to visit. Doesn't matter because it must be great. Just know that I have been to many restaurants for the rich.But it doesn't suit my taste. So, you have to choose well."
Glenn giggled.
Glenn - "I'm sure I won't let you down, Mon."
Monica - " Then. Let go, Glenn! I can't wait any longer."
Monica held his hand.
Glenn (Happy) - "Wait! Don't rush!"
Monica laughed. Thomas was surprised that he never see Monica smiled at him, not even once but her smile was so pretty and bitter tears tasted from his mouth falling down his rough face.
