The old man didn't leave Shun Long's and the others' vicinity even after he'd explained everything he needed to. Instead, he took out a small green jade from his sleeve and held it tightly with both hands, looking as if he was relaying something.
Shun Long didn't even need to ask to tell that the old man was most likely communicating with that 'hall master' he had just mentioned.
And indeed, not even a minute later, Shun Long could sense the atmosphere in the hall turning dim and oppressive, before a sudden, cool gust of wind caused his black robes to flutter uncontrollably.
There weren't many people inside the hall, and yet everyone seemed to have turned their gazes in Shun Long's direction almost simultaneously... or more specifically, right behind him!
Turning around, Shun Long wasn't surprised to see an unfamiliar middle-aged man towering over them, his gaze scrutinizing Jiang Chen and the others before eventually settling on him.
