Shawney held Torren hand seeing him looking at her then said, "I am not Meg, I just want you all to know that I am married."
"You are but when?" Sid asks.
When Gretta says, "My mummy."
Shawney said, "Torren and I got married on the twenty-seventh of April."
Sid hugs her, then the others follow congratulating her, when Sid said, "I am so happy for you, you deserve some happiness."
Then her celebration began, they all sing happy birthday then cut the cake, which Shawney and Gretta had a feast.
All three cakes were finish with those six children. We had soft music and the family dance then they went in the pool.
Even her Aunt behave herself and they converse fair to fine without any strenuous effort.
Leaving Shawney to bid her family goodbye for the night, Torren see it was almost eleven and his two children were bright as a bulb, that cake had them hyper.
Having to help dad with the children bath, and get them ready for bed was a task, but hearing dad telling them the story of a beautiful storyteller, they finally settle down.
Returning downstairs overhearing she and the lawyer discussing business. I went to the reception desk to quarry on the expenses for the evening.
Hearing Uncle Thomas had instructed that it was taken care of, Torren return to meet her.
As Torren waited on her to conclude her business, the evening events play on his mind. Torren felt much relieved that she and her Aunt had finally made their peace, and her family seem really happy for us.
Whispering a word of thanks, "Thank You Father, with your help I was able to accomplish the task of reuniting her family."
Walking with her lawyer and her to his car when she said to send her a monthly report and inform the bank of her address, so she will get the bank statement."
Right before the lawyer sits in his car he said, "Mr. Mac Carty you will take care of my girl, I have known her from a child, and as her family said, she deserves some happiness now."
"I will and I promise to do my best Sir."
Walking side by side as we ascend the stairs, when she said, "I should have known you were up to something with that smile earlier on your face."
"Me, and what have I done?"
"Oh, I heard a few small details."
"Well my beautiful wife, I just wanted to see you smiling, that mass face this morning was an ugly sight.
I was willing to move any mountain just to see the sparkle in those beautiful eyes of yours."
"Thank you so, so much. I feel like a heavy burden has been lifted from my shoulders."
"I am so happy to hear that because I still have another gift for you."
"You do?" Seeing her excitement.
"Yep," standing at the door taking out the small box. Shawney looks at his face seeing the smile, as he opens it.
Torren heard her sigh as he takes it out of the box as though she cannot wait.
When he said, "Mrs. Shawney Wayman Mac Carty will you honor me by wearing my ring for the world to know that I love you?"
"I will, if you answer me truthfully?"
"And what is your question, my fair lady?"
Shawney notices how he was smiling, "I only have one question and please don't be offended, because this is the best birthday I ever had."
"Okay, ask away."
"Is this Dalia ring?"
"No, my love, I love you too much to do you that? And thinking about it now, why didn't dad give me it when I had engaged Dalia?"
"Your dad, what has he got to do with this?"
"Sweetheart, this is my mom's wedding ring, dad had it hidden away, and."
When he stopped, "And what Torren?"
"Well, it is my turn to ask you not to be angry or offended."
"Okay, this sounds serious, but I am in a good mood, so go ahead let me hear what you have done."
When one of the guests passes, Torren, just bend and scoop her up, "We will discuss this inside not on the corridor."
"I believe you are right," but she pulls his head so her lips could capture his lips. Seeing her unlock the door, he take her straight to bed.
When we woke to the knocking on the door. Torren, crawl out seeing his dad had already bathe and change the children in the clothes he had bought yesterday.
Hearing his Dad saying, "I am taking the children for breakfast then we are going on the beach."
When Shawney said, "Dad, will you wait for me, I need to soak in some saltwater."
"Okay, child we will."
"Dad, will you give me half an hour, and dad order our breakfast please." Shawney requested.
The remaining few days Shawney drives us around, showing us the beautiful sights. She made sure the children enjoy every moment of their adventure.
Well for me, she made every moment we spend together amazing and most pleasing, just like if we would have gone on a honeymoon.
Tuesday evening her family returns to spend our last evening together. They had all walk with a dish, and dad gets the drinks and ice-cream.
Shawney had baked a marble cake and some pastries earlier in the day. Knowing that we will be leaving very early, and she will have some snacks to take along for the children.
We had already packed our luggage, only the last few things to throw in the suitcase when we ready to leave.
We were up by four in the morning, to get started on our journey. The night before we had finalized that Juliaen will send one of his taxi for five to take us to the airport.
We had to dress the children while the were asleep. They wasn't awake until nine, it was only then we made a stop at a café to get some hot tea for the children, and for them to use the washroom and to freshen up.
Our flight was eight in the night, so we didn't stop anywhere else.
At the airport Shawney bath Gretta and change her and I did the same with Tray. Dad on the other hand seems to be occupied with something on his mind.
