Benedict's POV
The moment I saw my girlfriend fell from her horse, I almost screamed together with Maya, and I felt horrified when her body rolled on the hill, and I couldn't imagine the pain she underwent that I jumped from my horse to be with her right away. I carried her delicate body in my arms, and I felt so terrified if she hurt her head, and I am just glad she had no major damage, only scratches on her arms since she wasn't wearing long-sleeved, and I felt delighted my brother helped me to bring her body into my horse.
By the time we got inside the Hernandez mansion, I lay her on the sofa, and I left Lisa for a while as I rummaged through the cabinets to look for the first aid kit and the cold compressed bag. I felt so guilty that I let her horse navigate the hill ahead of me, I could have her on my horse, or I could have guided her on what to do in moving the horse uphill. It was late for me to tell her what to do, but next time I will give her another lesson.
