Maya's POV
I almost have a heart attack when I felt a hand tapped my shoulder because I didn't dare to look behind me to know who had come, and I am sure Dr. Inez and Benedict will save me from Madam Kriselda, and when I turned my head, I want to yank my best friend's hair. I couldn't believe she will come today, and I wonder who told her we are in the city, and she should be at her office at this hour.
"Lisa! Did you know you scared me? How did you know we are here?" I asked in a low tone because even if I know Adonis is still unconscious, I don't want to disturb him.
"Ariana texted me, and I hate you for not telling me about your fantastic plan." She replied in a hushed voice.
"I am sorry, okay? I didn't get the chance to text or call you because I was restless since the moment I learned I have to disguise myself as a doctor to visit Adonis. I know I am the only person ban from seeing my fiance, can you believe that? My brother's plan is kind of risky, but it works." I said.
