Walking with Kite, Han Dong truly understood what 'being disliked' meant.
Even with the admirable title of "Ninth Element" above his head, he could always see more or less disgust in the eyes of the other Demons.
However, Kite didn't care about such dislike at all.
Even if some Demons, relying on their London background, showed disrespect to his face, Kite would not get angry.
Perhaps he had grown accustomed to it, or perhaps he found it too troublesome to respond.
Throughout the journey, he just kept his head down, following behind Han Dong obediently, murmuring something to himself under his breath.
"The 'disgust' should originate from his inherent nature, as any Demon who sees Kite would show signs of repulsion.
If I just took Kite into the manor, it would not only lower the overall mood but even affect the related work of the laboratory.
A safe place has to be found where Kite can be 'kept'.
